During my time as a Lead Technician, I was responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of cable systems and hardware. I used power and hand tools, worked in small spaces, and worked at heights as part of my duties. I was responsible for installing Cisco Switches and connecting hardware, testing and troubleshooting connections, upgrading current products, providing customer support, assisting with manufacturer warranties, and maintaining proper documentation.

By stacking Cisco switches, I was able to expand the network capacity without managing multiple devices. I was able to stack switches that could be added or removed from a stack as needed without affecting the overall performance of the stack. Depending on its topology, I also run Ethernet cables to configure the network.
Brightline, Fort Lauderdale
It was my responsibility to assist with the installation of the ethernet and fiber cables. As part of the installation process, I had to connect all the wireless access points to the switches in order to complete the installation
